We will be performing a planned upgrade of our Amazon EKS cluster. The upgrade includes applying the latest bug fixes, and security patches provided by Amazon. We are upgrading the EKS worker nodes and EKS addons.
This update is crucial to provide:
1. Bug Fixes: The upgrade addresses known issues and bugs present in the current version, contributing to the stability and reliability of the cluster.
2. Security Updates: Applying the latest version of the AMI image ensures that the EKS cluster benefits from the latest security patches.
During this time, the web applications will be restarted once within the maintenance window. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
